Postscript & pictures from the completed project
I recently realized that people are still finding and reading this blog, and that there are no pictures of the finished product! Here are some pictures, along with some production stills from "Hitler's Stealth Fighter", which still airs occasionally on the NatGeo Channel. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
I have a page describing all of my contributions to the film on my website.

Is the model itself full-scale? It's tiny! Looks like something that would be absolutely the most kick ass personal jet, ever... Are you not tempted to build a fully operational replica?! As far as I know, no one else has a flying Ho-229 replica. WHY??? The design works, the Germans had 2 operational prototypes in '43-'44.
ReplyDeleteYes, see the pictures above. It was used as a prop in the NatGeo documentary. Actually, I heard from a guy who claimed to be working on a full-size flying replica of the Ho 229. Not sure if he is really building it or not.
ReplyDeleteWhere are the cockpit parts from, is there any way to get them?
ReplyDeleteDo you have plans for a full Scale? Do you have this as an 1/8th Scale Short Kit?
